Polyester is 100% man-made, resulting in it being extremely resilient to wear and tear, colour loss, and damages, including damage caused by heavy or rough handling. It is also easy to clean and long-lasting. However, polyester may feel fake or have a plastic-like smell, which makes it relatively uncomfortable to rest on.
